'Tis the Season

Sunday, December 25, 2016

It is now that time of the year when we celebrate the greatest event to ever happen in history and that is the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Everyone is caught up in the holiday mood with the crazy (last minute) shopping and Christmas lights brightening up our neighborhoods.

As exciting as it may be let us not forget the reason for this season and that is the greatest gift that could ever be given to us, grace, uncoditional love and salvation.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROman 6:23 AMP

This Christmas instead of being concerned about what presents you are going to receive and making it all about yourself try and change it up a bit by making someone else's Christmas a special one. Even if you write a simple Christmas card with a nice treat accompanying it just to let someone know how much you appreciate them. Trust, it will go a long way.

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." - Provers 11 verse 25 (NIV)

"A man's gift given in love makes room for him and brings him before great men." - Proverbs 18 verse 16 (AMP)

Do remember to keep safe during this festive season and to enjoy it to the full.

From my heart to yours, MERRY CHRISTMAS! And remember that God loves you and so do I.
