Wisdom

Saturday, November 19, 2016

We are left with a few days left until we enter into 2017 (literally just a few days left). Is it not ridiculous how time just flies, especially when you are having fun. But with 2016 coming to an end this means that I will be faced with decisions to make that will determine the following years of my life.

So with this thought in mind I turned to the word, where I get the best advise on anything and everything, and I came across these two scriptures:

James 1:5-8New Living Translation (NLT)

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

Colossians 1:9-10New Living Translation (NLT)

9 ...We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

These scriptures speak for themselves. When it comes to any decision making or confusion that you're going through trust that He will give you all the wisdom and insight you need to make the right decisions.

In other news, my beautiful friend, Khwezi Masinga, who is a graphic designer made an illustration of me for my 18th birthday.

She is absolutely talented! If you would like to get a hold of her or to see more of her amazing work do check here on Facebook here and Instagram here.

Well that's it for now but do stay on the look out for an upcoming outfit post this week. Until then...

Remember God loves you and so do I.
