A Sunny Winter Day

One reason I love Durban is because of it's weather. The sun will shine brightly on any winter morning, but this year it seems to be little chillier than before.

I will always say you can never go wrong with a classic white shirt.

Winter Must Haves

Hey guys. Since winter has kicked in with a great force, literally, I'm sure we are having a hard time getting dressed for this particular season. I really enjoy winter only when it comes to the fashion because you wear more and experiment with layering and many different things.

I wanted to post the total must haves a lady should have in wardrobe this winter and always really.

1. Dark coloured skinny jeans and leather leggings.

These are great for those cold lazy days. Just pair them with a cute blouse or a classic white shirt with a pair of booties and you are off to go.

2. Skirts

From pencil to asymmetric, skirts are a definite must have for all seasons not only winter. Wear them with a pair of stockings and cute heels.

3. The timeless coat.

You can never go wrong with a classic coat. You can wear this over your jean and tee or over a cute dress. Definitely invest in a coat this winter, it'll never get out of fashion.

4. Classic white shirt.

Simple item which can be worn in many different ways. Every girl should have a classic white shirt.

5. Sweaters.

Used keep warm but in a stylish way. You wear a sweater over a classic white shirt or a simple tee.

6. Printed scarves.

An ultimate accessory that can be worn in many ways, as a scarf, belt, head wrap or just to make your handbag pretty.

7. Ankle boots and knee high boots.

Booties go great with anything, from jeans to dresses (but it depends how you'd want to pair them together.)

8. Pumps.

Slipper pumps have been on trend for quite some time and they have a different twist from a ballerina pump. Pumps help to keep everything cool and casual but still stylish.

Classic

One reason I love living in Durban is that it's summer all the time. During our winters we still experience a bit of the golden sun which is quite refreshing.

Wide brimmed hats are back this winter and they are very convenient for those bad hair days we all experience during winter.

When shopping this winter invest in classic, timeless statement pieces. You'll never go wrong with a classic white shirt, you can dress it up with a high-waist pencil skirt or even down with a pair of jeans and a pair of cute ankle booties.

The Chills

I apologise for the delay guys. I know it's been quite a while since I have posted anything (3 weeks in exact). I've been busy for the last 3 weeks with school and being a part of my school musical. It was great fun though and I'm glad to be back. But i'm not promising that I will be posting frequently because we are in a buys term and it's just work, work, work for me.
